Operated every morning during clear weather, this 1-hour scenic flight is perfect for those who want to admire the beauty of the Everest region without trekking. Whether you’re short on time or simply want a unique aerial perspective, this flight delivers jaw-dropping views and unforgettable memories.
The Everest Mountain Flight is a one-hour scenic flight departing from Kathmandu, offering passengers a close-up view of the Himalayan range, including Mt. Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Makalu, and Ama Dablam. The flight operates early in the morning for the best visibility, with guaranteed window seats for all passengers.
Best for: Those short on time or unable to trek but want to see Everest.
Flight Duration: ~1 hour (approx. 50-60 minutes of mountain viewing).
Flight Schedule: Daily early morning flights (6:00 AM to 9:00 AM)
Best Season: October-May (clear skies, best visibility).
5:30 AM – Hotel Pickup & Drive to Airport
Our representative will pick you up from your hotel in Kathmandu and transfer you to Tribhuvan International Airport – Domestic Terminal. Early mornings offer the clearest skies for the best views.
6:00 AM – Airport Check-In & Boarding
Complete the check-in process and get ready to board your scenic mountain flight. Every passenger gets a guaranteed window seat.
6:30 AM – Take Off for the Everest Mountain Flight
The aircraft takes off heading east, soaring over the majestic Langtang, Dorje Lakpa, Gauri Shankar, and eventually the crown jewel – Mount Everest. Enjoy spectacular views of snow-capped peaks, deep valleys, glaciers, and alpine lakes. The pilot often invites passengers to the cockpit one by one for the best panoramic photo opportunities.
7:30 AM – Return to Kathmandu Airport
After an exhilarating hour in the skies, the flight lands back at Kathmandu. You’ll receive a flight completion certificate as a souvenir of this unforgettable experience.
8:00 AM – Hotel Drop-Off
Our team will drive you back to your hotel, leaving you with lifelong memories and stunning photos of the world’s highest peaks.

Q2: What happens if the weather is bad?
Flights only operate under clear weather conditions. If canceled due to weather, you’ll be offered a full refund or the chance to reschedule.
Q3: Can I see Everest clearly from the plane?
Absolutely! You’ll see Everest along with many other peaks. The airline crew also points them out during the flight.
Q4: Do I need to book in advance?
Yes, we recommend booking at least a day or two in advance, especially during the peak season (Sept–Nov and Mar–May).
Bring your passport for airport check-in (even for domestic flights).
Carry a fully charged camera or smartphone – you’ll want to capture every moment.
Dress warmly, as the mornings can be chilly.
