Detailed Day Wise Itinerary

  • Day : 1 Arrival in Kathmandu

    Upon arriving in Kathmandu, you’ll be transferred to your hotel. Once settled in, you have the option to either rest and recover from your journey or start exploring the vibrant city.

  • Day : 2 Flight to Lukla and Trek to Phakding (2,860m - 2,610m)

    • You’ll start with an early morning flight from Kathmandu to Lukla, Lukla, perched at 2,860 meters, serves as the gateway to the Everest region. From there, you’ll embark on a scenic trek to Phakding, located at 2,610 meters.
    • This initial trek is gentle, allowing you to acclimatize gradually while enjoying the serene beauty of the Khumbu region. The journey typically takes around 3 to 4 hours, setting the tone for the adventure ahead amidst Nepal’s spectacular mountain scenery.

  • Day : 3 Trek from Phakding to Namche Bazaar (3,440m)

    • On the third day of your Everest Base Camp trek, you’ll hike from Phakding to Namche Bazaar. The trail passes through pine forests and along the Dudh Koshi River, entering Sagarmatha National Park. After crossing prayer flag-adorned suspension bridges, you’ll ascend to Namche Bazaar at 3,440 meters, a vibrant Sherpa town with stunning mountain views.
    • The trek takes around 5 to 6 hours, allowing for acclimatization and enjoyment of the scenic Himalayan landscapes.

  • Day : 4 Acclimatization Day in Namche Bazaar

    • On day four of your Everest Base Camp trek, you’ll spend a day acclimatizing in Namche Bazaar. You can take short hikes to Syangboche Airport or visit Khumjung Village to explore local Sherpa culture and enjoy panoramic mountain views.

  • Day : 5 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche (3,860m)

    • Trek starts from Namche Bazaar to Tengboche, the trail winds through lush forests adorned with rhododendrons and pine trees, offering glimpses of wildlife and serene river crossings.
    • The highlight of the day is reaching Tengboche Monastery, situated at 3,860 meters. This ancient monastery is a spiritual center for Sherpas and offers stunning vistas of Everest, Ama Dablam, and other towering mountains. The trek typically takes 5 to 6 hours, allowing for ample time to soak in the cultural and natural wonders of the region before settling in for the night in Tengboche.

  • Day : 6 Trek from Tengboche to Dingboche (4,410m)

    • On day six, you’ll trek from Tengboche to Dingboche. The trail leads you through vibrant rhododendron forests and past intricately carved Mani stones, offering a picturesque and spiritually enriching experience.
    • After 5 to 6 hours of trekking, you’ll reach Dingboche, situated at 4,410 meters, where you’ll rest and acclimatize amidst stunning mountain views.

  • Day : 7 Acclimatization Day in Dingboche

    • On day seven, you’ll spend a day in Dingboche to acclimatize. You can hike to Nagarjun Hill or explore the Chukhung Valley, both offering spectacular views and helping with acclimatization.
    • After the hike, you’ll return to Dingboche to rest and prepare for the next leg of your trek, spending the night in this charming village surrounded by towering peaks.

  • Day : 8 Trek from Dingboche to Lobuche (4940m)

    • You’ll trek from Dingboche to Lobuche. The trail takes you past the Khumbu Glacier, offering striking views of the ice formations and surrounding peaks.
    • After 5 to 6 hours of trekking through this rugged landscape, you’ll reach Lobuche, situated at 6145 meters, where you’ll spend the night in preparation for your approach to Everest Base Camp.

     

  • Day : 9 Trek from Lobuche to Gorak Shep and Everest Base Camp (5,164m- 5,364m)

    • brief rest, you’ll continue to Everest Base Camp at 5,364 meters, experiencing the awe-inspiring surroundings and the climbers’ camp.
    • Following your visit to Base Camp, you’ll return to Gorak Shep. This challenging but rewarding trek takes 7 to 8 hours, culminating in a night spent at Gorak Shep.

     

  • Day : 10 Hike to Kala Patthar and Trek to Pheriche (5,644m - 4,371m)

    • On day ten, you’ll start with an early morning hike to Kala Patthar, reaching 5,644 meters for breathtaking sunrise views of Everest and the surrounding peaks. After savoring the panoramic vistas, you’ll descend to Pheriche, located at 4,371 meters.
    • The day’s trek, lasting 7 to 8 hours, allows you to take in the stunning scenery while making your way to the lower altitude for an overnight stay.

  • Day : 11 Trek from Pheriche to Namche Bazaar

    • On day eleven, you’ll retrace your steps from Pheriche back to Namche Bazaar. The trek, lasting 6 to 7 hours, takes you through familiar landscapes of the Khumbu Valley.
    • Returning to the vibrant Sherpa town of Namche Bazaar, you’ll have the chance to rest and enjoy the amenities before your descent continues.

  • Day : 12 Trek from Namche Bazaar to Lukla

    • On day twelve, you’ll trek from Namche Bazaar back to Lukla. This 6 to 7-hour journey takes you down through the Dudh Koshi River valley.
    • Arriving in Lukla, you’ll have time to relax and reflect on your trekking adventure before your flight back to Kathmandu.

  • Day : 13 Flight from Lukla to Kathmandu

    • On day thirteen, you’ll take a morning flight from Lukla back to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, you’ll be transferred to your hotel.
    • The rest of the day is free for you to rest and explore Kathmandu, enjoying the city’s vibrant culture and historical sites.

  • Day : 14 Departure from Kathmandu

    On day fourteen, you’ll conclude your journey with a transfer to the airport for your departure from Kathmandu. Safe travels!
