Imagine soaring above the towering peaks of the Himalayas, with Mount Everest (8,848m) right before your eyes. The Everest Heli Tour is an extraordinary journey that takes you deep into the heart of the Khumbu region, offering a once-in-a-lifetime experience for adventure seekers and nature lovers alike.
This luxurious helicopter ride lets you witness the snow-covered summits, glaciers, and remote Sherpa villages from an aerial perspective, skipping the long and strenuous trek. You’ll land at Kala Patthar (5,545m)—the most iconic viewpoint of Everest—where you can step out and stand in the shadows of the world’s tallest peaks. Feel the thrill of the high altitude as you take in a 360-degree panorama of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and the surrounding Himalayan range.
To complete this adventurous yet comfortable trip, we take you to Everest View Hotel (3,880m), where you can enjoy a luxurious breakfast with the world’s best view. This journey is not just about reaching Everest—it’s about experiencing its grandeur in the most spectacular way possible.
If you crave the ultimate thrill, breathtaking scenery, and an unforgettable high-altitude experience, the Everest Heli Tour is made for you!
The Everest Heli Tour takes you to an altitude of 5,545 meters (Kala Patthar), offering the closest possible view of Mount Everest and its neighboring peaks. Since this tour reaches extreme altitudes in a short time, we ensure oxygen support is available onboard for passenger safety. The stop at Kala Patthar lasts for 15-20 minutes to minimize the risks of altitude sickness.
The best seasons for this tour are Spring (March–May) and Autumn (September–November) when the skies are clear, and the Himalayan views are at their best. Winter (December–February) also offers stunning views with snow-covered landscapes, but temperatures can be extremely cold. Monsoon season (June–August) is not recommended due to heavy clouds and unpredictable weather conditions that may affect flight schedules.
Since the Everest region is known for its unpredictable weather, all flights are subject to weather clearance. Morning flights are preferred as visibility is generally better. If weather conditions are unfavorable, the flight may be rescheduled or postponed for safety reasons.
The helicopter has a weight limit of 500 kg per flight, including passengers and luggage. Depending on the total weight, passengers may be divided into groups for different shuttle arrangements, especially during the Kala Patthar landing, where the helicopter can only accommodate a limited number of people due to high-altitude air pressure.
The highlight of this journey is the landing at Kala Patthar (5,545m), where you get the closest and clearest view of Mount Everest. Since the Everest Base Camp itself is relatively flat and does not offer the best panoramic views, Kala Patthar is chosen as the best viewpoint. The Everest View Hotel (3,880m) landing allows you to relax, soak in the mountain scenery, and enjoy a luxurious breakfast before heading back to Kathmandu.
Since this journey involves reaching high altitudes within a short time, all helicopters are equipped with oxygen cylinders for emergency use. The professional pilots and crew are highly experienced in high-altitude flights, ensuring both comfort and safety throughout the trip.
