Pashupatinath Temple, one of Hinduism’s holiest sites dedicated to Lord Shiva, is known for its distinctive charm. The complex features a lively monkey community, a golden roof, and silver doors. Inside, a unique lingam with four faces represents Shiva’s omnipresence. The vibrant atmosphere is enriched by colorful sadhus (holy men) adding to the temple’s cultural depth.
Doleshwor Mahadev Temple is that it’s believed to be the head of the Kedarnath temple in India. According to legend, Doleshwor Mahadev is considered a significant part of the Kedarnath shrine, and many devotees visit Doleshwor Mahadev with the belief that it completes their pilgrimage to Kedarnath, which is situated in the Himalayas.
Muktinath Temple is renowned for its sacred, ever-burning flame and the 108 water spouts used by pilgrims for ritual baths, which are believed to cleanse sins. This site holds dual significance for both Hindus and Buddhists, blending religious traditions uniquely.
